Add a Web Link

This page describes how to add a Web Link to BlackBoard. A Web Link can be used to post a direct link to a website.
To add a Web Link to a Page
  • Select the course you wish to add a Web Link to
  • In the left menu, click on the page to add a Web Link to
  • Click on Build Content in the upper left corner.
  • Under Create, select Web Link
  • Fill in the Name and the URL of the Web Link and any additional information
  • Click Submit

To add a Web Link to the Left Menu
  • Click the + in the upper left corner of the left menu
  • Enter the link name and URL
  • Click Submit

To add a Web Link to a Page
  • Select the course you wish to add a Web Link to
  • In the left menu, click on the page to add a Web Link to

  • Click on Build Content in the upper left corner.

  • Under Create, select Web Link.

  • Fill in the Name and the URL of the Web Link and any additional information

To add a Web Link to the Left Menu
  • Click the + in the upper left corner of the left menu
